Great training. Lane really takes his time and makes sure you fundamentally understand everything. Great sparring partners and a great environment for everyone from beginners to people who have been training for years.

So happy we found this place! We’ve taken our kids (5 and ? to a couple of Katate classes in Tampa and this one is BY FAR the best. The instructors are patient and kind to the kids. They are actually teaching them (it’s not just a zoo of kids running a muck and “earning” stripes and stickers). I’ve been so impressed with all of the instructors. The facility is clean and the staff is always friendly. Awesome place!
We love South Tampa Jiu-Jitsu & MMA. The entire staff is kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our girls started attending classes in February 2022 and they’ve learned so much from their coaches that have not only helped on the mats but in their personal life. They’ve learned how to be more patient, understanding, and have better problem-solving skills.

Talai was part of the Kyrgyzstan Judo National team and several times champion of the Kyrgyzstan National competition. He participated in international level competitions.
He also has 5 years of military Russian Sambo training in the Russian military Academy. Trained and was an instructor in Lackland AFB Judo team (San Antonio, Texas).
